ಗೋವಾ : ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದಂತೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗೋವಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರವಾರ ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಡೆಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಐಎನ್ಎಸ್ ವಿಕ್ರಾಂತ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ, ನಾನು ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಡಗುಗಳು, ಗಾಳಿಗಿಂತ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಚಲಿಸುವ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು, ಈ ಜಲಾಂತರ್ಗಾಮಿ ನೌಕೆಗಳು, ಅವು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣವಾಗಿಸುವುದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವವರ ಧೈರ್ಯ. ಈ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದಾಗ, ಅವು ಸಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಡೆಗಳ ಜೀವಂತ, ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ಪಡೆಗಳಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೂ, ನಾನು ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬದುಕಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ನಾನು ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ. ಈ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬದುಕುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಷ್ಟ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಊಹಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
